Prof. Dr. Irada Khalilova, Khazar University’s Rector, expresses her sincere gratitude to Prof.Dr. Ahmet Ataç, the Rector of Manisa Celal Bayar University, for his hospitality, cooperation, and geniunie sense of academic partnership.
On 25-29 April 2022, a small team from Khazar University (Azerbaijan) visited Manisa Celal Bayar University (Turkey) on Erasmus+ Staff Mobility. During the visitation, the Azerbaijani delegation met with the host-organisation’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ataç, the staff of the International Relations Office, the Head of Department of Political Science and International Relations (Faculty of Economics and Management), and the teaching staff. In the framework of the mobility, a number of highly productive discussions were arrange to strengthen partnerships and academic ties between the two friendly educational institutions.

Eligibility:
Students of Business Administration, Modern Languages, Translation, Primary Education, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering at Khazar University.
- Enrolled in a Khazar University at the time of application;
- Completed at least the first year of their studies at Khazar University;
- Have a cumulative GPA of 85 or higher;
- Citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan or an International Student enrolled in a full-degree programme at Khazar University;
- Have completed at least the first year of their studies;
- Have NO disciplinary sanctions within the past 6 months;
- English Proficiency Document (TOEFL, IELTS, Khazar University English exam, YDS, YOKDIL or exams which are accepted by OSYM) or document issued by the Home University that can be taken from students’ departments
How to apply?
Required documents:
- Europass CV
- Copy of National Identity Card
- Transcript
- Photo (3×4) and a copy of student ID card
- English Proficiency Document (TOEFL, IELTS, Khazar University English exam, YDS, YOKDIL or exams which are accepted by OSYM) or document issued by the Home University that can be taken from students’ departments
- The application form should be printed, signed
Information about courses and costs:
Exchange students are exempted from the tuition fee at VMU. Students are responsible for the accommodation application and fee, flight tickets and all living costs. You may check the preliminary costs here.

What is Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching?
Teaching mobility is an activity that allows academic staff who have already taught at the home institution to teach in a partner university.
To be eligible for this mobility, the applicant
- Must be a full-time member of Khazar University’ academic staff;
- Is able to professionally and physically participate in this programme, and to communicate with a respected department of the partner-university;
- Has a minimum English proficiency on the level of B2;
- Has a motivation letter prepared to support her/his application;
- Has her/his updated CV to be included with the submission.
The duration of teaching mobility is 5 days, excluding travel time to and from the partner-university. For one-week (5 working days) participation, the teaching activity must comprise a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week.
