ERASMUS+ STUDENT MOBILITY FOR Koc University, Turkiye 2024-2025 Fall Semester

We are happy to inform all you that the Call for mobility to study Koc University through the  Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility  Programme  is now open. The details are as follows:  

Please find below the application procedures.

Eligibility: 

  • Students of Bachelor, Master, Phd of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Comparative Linguistics, Political Science and International Relations, Economics, Business Administration, MBA General, MBA Finance
  • Enrolled in a Khazar University at the time of application; 
  • Completed at least the first year of their studies at Khazar University; 
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 85 or higher; 
  • Citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan or an International Student enrolled in a full-degree programme at Khazar University; 
  • Have NO disciplinary sanctions within the past 6 months; 
  • English Proficiency Document (TOEFL, IELTS, Khazar University English exam, YDS, YOKDIL or exams which are accepted by OSYM) or document issued by the Home University that can be taken from students’ departments

How to apply? 

Required documents: 

  • Europass CV
  • Copy of National Identity Card
  • Passport
  • Transcript (Visiting your School)
  • Photo (3×4) and a copy of student ID card 
  • English Proficiency Document (TOEFL, IELTS, Khazar University English exam, YDS, YOKDIL or exams which are accepted by OSYM) or document issued by the Home University that can be taken from students’ departments
  • The application form should be printed, signed (First fill out online, then print out)

Applications should be submitted personally through the International Affairs Office – room 512. 

NOTE: Research course availability, course prerequisites, and course syllabus

information at partner universities is the students’ responsibility to communicate within the home departments.

Exchange Programme FOR Daejin University, South Korea 2023-2024 Fall Semester

We are happy to inform all you that the Call for exchange to study Daejin University   is now open. The details are as follows:   

Please find below the application procedures. 

Eligibility:  

  • Enrolled in a Khazar University at the time of application;  
  • Completed at least the first year of their studies at Khazar University;  
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 85 or higher;  
  • Citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan or an International Student enrolled in a full-degree programme at Khazar University;  
  • Have NO disciplinary sanctions within the past 6 months;  
  • English Proficiency Document (TOEFL, IELTS, Khazar University English exam, YDS, YOKDIL or exams which are accepted by OSYM) or document issued by the Home University that can be taken from students’ departments 
  • Students can apply to any courses available at an undergraduate level
  • The programme\course link that are taught in English;  Please see the link (http://abroad.daejin.ac.kr/contents/cor/global.html)  Note that business administration + some general education electives are only taught in English.

All students are required to be enroled in and charged for the National
Health Insurance Service. = 71,920 KRW per month
Living Cost
Meals and other living expenses
Residents living on campus accommodation are required to purchase a
meal (Plan A: 3,600 KRW per meal, Plan B: 3,800 KRW per meal).

CAll for Staff Mobility for Training in METU – Middle East Technical University

Information about METU’s 7th International Staff Training Week (12-16 June, 2023)

The event focuses on exchanging experiences, making assessments of the partnership, sharing best practices and learning from each other. We expect to host a wide range of institutions from more than 20 countries among METU’s network, extending from Europe to Far East, from Central Asia to Americas.

To be eligible for this mobility, the applicant  

  • Must be a full-time member of Khazar University’ academic staff;  
  • Is able to professionally and physically participate in this programme, and to communicate with a respected department of the partner-university; 
  • Has a minimum English proficiency on the level of B2; 
  • Has a motivation letter prepared to support her/his application;  
  • Has her/his updated CV to be included with the submission. 

The duration of training mobility is 5 days, excluding travel time to and from the partner-university.

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMME  with the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB)

Khazar University offers Dual Degrees with Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), Portugal:  

Eligibility:  

Master students of  Informatics, Management and Chemical Engineering at Khazar University.  

  • Enrolled in a Khazar University graduate degree program at the time of application;   
  • Should have completed 6 (six) semesters of study and accumulated 180 ECTS (bachelor) or 2 (two) semesters and accumulated 60 ECTS (master);
  • Citizen of the Azerbaijani Republic or an International Student enrolled in a full-degree program at Khazar University;  
  • Enrolled in a Khazar University degree program at the time of application;   
  • Have NO disciplinary sanctions within the past 6 months;  
  • English Proficiency Document (TOEFL, IELTS, Khazar University English exam, YDS, YOKDIL or exams which are accepted by OSYM) or document issued by the Home University that can be taken from students’ departments

Calls for Applications  

What is Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching?  

Teaching mobility is an activity that allows academic staff who have already taught at the home institution to teach in a partner university. 

To be eligible for this mobility, the applicant  

  • Must be a full-time member of Khazar University’ academic staff;  
  • Is able to professionally and physically participate in this programme, and to communicate with a respected department of the partner-university; 
  • Has a minimum English proficiency on the level of B2; 
  • Has a motivation letter prepared to support her/his application;  
  • Has her/his updated CV to be included with the submission. 

The duration of teaching mobility is 5 days, excluding travel time to and from the partner-university. For one-week (5 working days) participation, the teaching activity must comprise a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week.

What is Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training?  

Erasmus+ offers professional development opportunities for staff to improve the skills required for their current job by participating in training. 

To be eligible for this mobility, the applicant  

  • Must be a full-time member of Khazar University’ academic staff or administrative staff;  
  • Is able to professionally and physically participate in this programme, and to communicate with a respected department of the partner-university; 
  • Has a minimum English proficiency on the level of B2; 
  • Has a motivation letter prepared to support her/his application;  
  • Has her/his updated CV to be included with the submission. 

Training may take the form of: 

  • Job-shadowing;  
  • Attendance at a staff training week 

The duration of teaching mobility is 5 days, excluding travel time to and from the partner-university. For one-week (5 working days) participation, the teaching activity must comprise a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week.
