“Indonesia Day” at Khazar University
On May 23, 2023, “Indonesia Day” was organized as part of the cooperation of the International Relations Office of Khazar University with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Azerbaijan. The event was attended by international students of Khazar University – Alif Paramardhika Putera, Brilliant Windy Khairunnisa, Aldila Gonita Putri Aulia Alfi Nasri, Abdullah Miftachul Irvan, Adib Kurniawan and Dona Alicia. The purpose of the event was to strengthen the cultural exchange of international students with local students and staff.
In the presentation of international students, the nature, culture, cuisine, national costumes and traditions of Indonesia were demonstrated.
At the end of the event, a quiz was held and the winners were given gifts brought from Indonesia.
Khazar University Rector’s Meeting with Mexican Ambassador and Mexican MP
On May 27, 2023, a business meeting was held between Khazar University Rector Irade Khalilova, Mexican Ambassador to Azerbaijan Maria Victoria Romero Caballero and Mexican MP Elvia Vigil at the Museum Inn restaurant in Baku.
Note that, Elvia Vigil participated in the 2nd International Conference (May 24-26, 2023) called “Mine Action – The Path to Reaching Sustainable Development Goals” held in Baku.
In the meeting with Elvia Vigil, preliminary discussions were held about the cooperation project between Technical University of Matamoros and Khazar University. It was noted that the cooperation will continue with the participation of the embassies of both countries, holding meetings in video format and identifying areas of cooperation by educational institutions.
