On 30 May, UNHCR Azerbaijan organized an event to mark the 30th anniversary of the global DAFI Scholarship Programme. The meeting was attended by 20 alumni and ongoing scholars and the Deputy Head of Mission from the German Embassy. There was a productive discussion on the topics of interest/concern such as networking, opportunities, and challenges for employment and career start-up in Azerbaijan, potential community initiatives by scholars, etc.
Khazar students Salim Rasooli, Ali Rza Hakimi, Ghaffari Omoibanin, and Anisa Fadhal Awad Ahmed attended the event.
